On December the 6th, a concert of a worldwide famous Japanese pianist Hiroko Nagai will be performed in the Audiovisual Technology Center in Wroclaw, Poland. Hiroko Nagai was born in Tokyo, Japan. She started playing the piano when she was 3 years old. She graduated from Kunitachi College of Music and from the Post-graduate Course in Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with outstanding honours. She was awarded many prizes in piano competitions. In 2008 She was awarded a special prize in the “Ibla Music International Competition” in Italy and has appeared in numerous music festivals throughout the world. In 2010 she moved to Wroclaw in Poland. She appearances numerous recitals and festivals in Poland. Her teachers of piano are Kazimierz Gierzod, Jerzy Sterczynski, Takako Ohara.
An animations of the old Japanese movies from 1920s and 1930s will be a part of the concert. After the concert there will be a lecture by Henryk Kalinowski – Polish traveler, who will tell few words about all his Japanese journeys. All guests will have great possibility to degustate traditional Japanese food – sushi and plum wine.
